Emirates

is one of the fastest growing airlines in the world. The award-winning airline flies to 100 destinations in 62 countries. In Germany, Emirates offers two daily nonstop scheduled flights from Frankfurt, Munich and Düsseldorf and a daily scheduled nonstop flight from Hamburg to the airlines international hub in Dubai.

Even more convenient travel for all flight classes

With an investment of several million U.S. dollars, Emirates is intensifying its leadership position on travel comfort even further. The international airline based in Dubai will introduce an even more exclusive version of their Private Suites, and Business Class passengers will benefit from full flatbed massage chairs. The seats in the Economy Class are also offering additional legroom. In addition, Emirates is equipping all classes with personal TV screens, each being the largest in the aviation industry.

"With these huge investments Emirates strengthens the leadership of its board product and improves competitive advantage in long-haul flights even further", says Tim Clark, President Emirates Airline. "The desire of our premium class customers for even more space and privacy, particularly on long distances, stood in the centre of the refinement for our product. In the next 18 months we will spend about 49 million U.S. dollars only to equip the First Class of our machines."

Setting new standards

Since its introduction in 2003, the Emirates private suites set new standards for luxury travel. The main offerings of the suites feature modern sleeper seats with massage functions which can be extended entirely as a bed, a "Dine-on-Demand" service, an own mini-bar and a cloakroom, a personal make-up table, lockable sliding doors for maximum privacy and a four-member cabin crew exclusively to First Class passengers. In close cooperation with aircraft and seat manufacturers, the airline has managed to provide the quality of a private yet to its First Class cabins.

More space

The new private suites are more spacious; include expanded storage space for hand luggage and a bigger, personal wardrobe. They come with elegant leather upholstery and a fine wood surface. A high cabin ceiling without storage compartments above the seats underlines the feeling of spaciousness. Guests can also relax in the new bar area of the First Class.

In the Business Class, the massage seats can be extended to a six-foot long flatbed tilt, which also offers passengers enough space. The seats offer maximum space and discrete partitions ensure enough privacy. In the Economy Class, the seats of the generation provide more legroom and comfort: They have fully adjustable headrest wings, an ergonomically shaped seat and a wide adjustable footrest.

"Ice" entertainment program

The award-winning "ice" entertainment program, from which the passengers can choose from over 600 entertainment channels, will be available in all classes. The latest movies and music clips are presented on digital widescreen LCD touch screens, which are with 23 inches in the First Class, 17 inches in the Business Class and 10.6 inches in the Economy Class the largest screens above the clouds.

The new Emirates jets from the type Boeing 777-300ER (ULR) will offer eight private suites in the First Class, 42 sleeper seats in the Business Class and 304 seats in the Economy Class. The 777-200LR will offer eight private suites, 42 sleeper seats and 216 Economy Class seats.
