NewTree Ranch offers healing for both visitors and the land with experiences that reconnect you with nature, while also helping restore the natural world. Take a hands-on approach – planting trees, learning about biodynamic farming, tending bees or animals – or simply explore the beauty of your surroundings through forest bathing, canoeing on the lake, or enjoying open air yoga. Their organic cuisine, much of it grown on the property, is both supremely healthy and delicious.
NewTree Ranch offers short or long-term stays throughout the year. One Popular retreat is the Restorative Farm Stay Retreat with a full program of experiences designed to help you slow down, live mindfully, and find a deeper connection with the natural world.
„Reconnect with nature among the magnificent Redwood trees in a self-sustaining private luxury estate.“
NewTree Ranch, in California’s beautiful Sonoma county, is 120 acres of lush farmland, rolling hills and Redwood forest. Dedicated to sustainability, and powered by over 200 solar panels, it combines community scale farming and production with reforestation – their goal is to plant 1000 Redwood trees – with the aim of improving the health of local ecosystems.
NewTree Farm’s two luxury accommodation options, built using plenty of local timber and stone, are spacious and airy, with generous bedrooms and bathrooms, many different living areas, and charming touches like a grand piano, outdoor baths and a yurt, if you feel like doing some glamping. With only a small number of guests staying at the retreat at any time, the service is caring, thoughtful and attentive. You can choose to eat meals prepared by the optional private chef, or cook for yourself in the fully stocked kitchens. Pets are also welcome at the ranch – you can even bring your horse.
Organic fresh produce
The ranch offers a truly grounding experience and the opportunity to have an active connection with nature by quite literally getting your hands dirty to plant trees or work on the farm.
