Hotel

At the heart of Broughton Sanctuary is Broughton Hall, a 16th Century architectural gem in one of the most beautiful parts of the United Kingdom, the Yorkshire Dales, that lets you live out your wildest English countryside fantasies. Classic Elizabethan and Georgian features have been updated with modern amenities to meet contemporary standards, while preserving the building’s historical character. Whether you choose to stay in the Hall itself or one of the 19 Holiday Homes – sophisticated conversions of barns, cottages, stables and more – you will enjoy the perfect blend of country-house beauty and modern luxury.

Broughton Sanctuary is also home to one of England’s most exciting rewilding projects. They have planted 350,000 native broadleaf trees to create new woodlands, and restored a wide array of natural habitats radically boosting biodiversity. Feeling inspired? Join a nature recovery project, try foraging for wild food, or take the plunge in a wild swimming pond. Feeling less wild? Relax in the Avalon Thermal Suite, or enjoy a delicious plant-based meal at the Bistro Utopia in the award-winning Walled Garden.
